Blog n°4: Ideal World



Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great start of the week

This week post it’s about Ideal World, I think talk about this it could be very interesting, unfortunely I don’t have much imagination so it’s quiet difficult for me imagine an ideal world. But I think I can make a little effort and imagine one.

Starting from the most important, I would like that in the not too distant future; I hope the majority of the world’s population will have a more conscious diet, what do I mean by this? The food of the majority of the population of all parts of the world is based mainly on the consumption of meat and dairy products, the livestock industry is one of the most polluting in the world, it contributes to land and water degradation, biodiversity loss and deforestation.
Nowhere is this impact more apparent than climate change, so I wish that there was a change of mentality in people and that they were more receptive to opt for a diet based on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, not only to take care of their body, but also of the Earth. However I know that this should be done as much as possible, because not everyone can afford such a diet.

But I really hope that not only is there a change of mentality regarding the type of food that is consumed and its impact on the Earth. I would also like people to change their way of seeing the world and to treat others with more respect, respecting their tastes, such as the clothes their wear up and their sexual preferences,  regardless of gender, or their socioeconomic status, race or ethnicity, academic degree or physical appearance. I think it’s incredible that in the middle of 2019 we still have to ask for and demand respect for ourselves and others, that’s why I hope it’s a quick change but at the same time conscious.

    I agree with u in many point of your post and I really think that eating meat are really unnecessary and cruelty

    I really like and agree with your ideal world, also we need to change our lifestyles reducing for example the consume of one use plastics.
    PS: It's sexual orientation not preference but i understand your point.

Blog 5: My future Job

Hi Everyone, I hope you’re having a wonderful week! As you can see in the title today’s post is about future jobs or carrer paths, so how do I see myself in the short and long term? I think this is a very good question, but at the same time it’s little bit difficult for me, I mean I see myself working on what I am studying now, if it hadn’t been that way I would not continue in this career, but I think in the cientific careers you can dedícate to many things.  People who work in science carrers are responsable for many of the things we, as society, benefit from every day- ways to prevent and cure diseases, new technology, and strategies to help control climate change- with all this options, jobs in these sectors can across so many different and fascinating areas, so I can’t say I have career plans, at least not for now.  But if I’m honest, what I would most like to do in the short term is to teach at the university and thus be able to contribute to the educa...
